Saturday April, 29 Spring Ride for the Troops The Inn on the Blue and Bentley' Saloon is hosting the Spring Ride for the Troops. The ride is presented by the Patriot Riders-NE, and of course for a great cause. Saturday May, 20 Indian Motorcycle Rally, Suffield CT. The Hilltop Farm will be hosting Hendee day along with an Indian Motorycle Rally on May 20th. Saturday May, 24, 25, 26, 27 Vermont in the Spring Craig and Wayne are planing a trip to Vermont for the Memorial Day weekend. We are heading up to the Big Bears Lodge in West Dover, Vt, for a long weekend. There are no real plans other than to enjoy some great riding. If you are interested in coming along, please RSVP to craig.ripley@comcast.net. Everyone is on their own for booking a room. We will be coming in on the 24th and heading for home on the morning of the 27th.

Saturday May, 26 Operation Flags for Vets If you are going to be around Memorial Day weekend and want a great way to spend a day take a look at this event and help flags on the graves of our fallen heros at the Bourne National Veteran's Cemetery. If anyone is interested, a ride can be put together to head down in the morning. If you would like to participate contact Ilene Klaver at victorylady@mac.com. Operation Flags for Vets will again be placing flags on the graves at the Massachusetts National Veteran’s Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts for Memorial Day. We are looking for volunteers to help with this worthy and solemn endeavor. People of all ages are welcomed to help in the placement of the 56,000 flags on the final resting place of our beloved veterans. Operation Flags for Vets will again be placing flags on the graves at the Massachusetts National Veteran’s Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts for Memorial Day. We are looking for volunteers to help with this worthy and solemn endeavor. People of all ages are welcomed to help in the placement of the 56,000 flags on the final resting place of our beloved veterans. A short ceremony will be held at the flagpole at the end of the Avenue of Flags at 10 AM followed by the actual placement of the flags. Please bring a long-shanked screwdriver with you to aid in making starter holes for the flags. Also, please do not begin planting flags before the end of the ceremony. Flag removal will take place on Sunday June 3 at 10 AM. Operation Flags for Vets is a program of the SFC Jared C. Monti Charitable Foundation established in memory of Medal of Honor recipient SFC Jared C. Monti; KIA Afghanistan 6-21-06.
